Out of all our 'summer beach photos' these are really a few of the only 'kind' ones. In most of the photos everyone is making some obnoxious face- gesture- or just looks really bad. This week is the last hurrah-- when we will be down there the most, before all the joys of the coming school year begin. I'm going to make sure i bring a camera and get some great photos that capture the good times spent. My niece has this great waterproof digital camera.. that will come in to handy this week!! Anyway~ the bay, nearing sunset. The street we stay on is really short- so i can literally sit on the front porch and see this off to the right, while the ocean is 6 houses to the left. However, this is one of the few days we decided to walk down to the bay dock and Sit. Wait. Watch. We really do take things for granted~ every day normal occurrences.
The beach at night~ still one of my favorite places. The sand is all cool, the ocean sounds louder than normal- everything is calm, still and crashing like thunder- all at once. It's like, in the darkness, your senses can't make up their mind-- it seems quiet, but in reality it's so loud- you can get lost in the noise. The girls found a hole, and yeah- this is as normal as it gets for them- in a photo pose. 
Our resident photographer~ Jess- and sidekick [aspiring to be just like Jess] Anna. Thinking of all the noise and confusion and craziness from the girls- I can't wait to get down to that really small place this week. The last free week of summer:( The Last Hurrah-
